2024 GMC Acadia Release Date & What’s New

Published on Mar 15, 2024 by Classic ELITE Buick GMC Creative Team

Although it’s not quite time to celebrate its 20th anniversary, this year will mark the beginning of the next generation for the GMC Acadia. Having been introduced back in 2007, the Acadia has undergone a bunch of drastic and exciting changes, including a jaunt from the full-size crossover segment down to midsize starting in 2017. But that ends now as the all-new, third-generation 2024 GMC Acadia makes its triumphant return to the full-size crossover class. With a rapidly approaching release date, we thought we’d tackle what’s new in the updated SUV to get you just as excited as we are for its arrival.

“GMC’s brand mission is to be a leader in capability, professional grade refinement and technological innovation. The all-new Acadia showcases all that and more in a uniquely GMC way – and it’s a blueprint of what’s to come for the GMC SUV portfolio.”

- Duncan Aldred, Global Vice President, Buick & GMC

When will the 2024 GMC Acadia be available?

The last time information about the all-new 2024 GMC Acadia was given, General Motors stated that the Acadia was expected to be available early this calendar year. Halfway through March, that means the Acadia has likely already entered production and could be arriving any time within the next several weeks. We’ll be keeping our eyes and ears peeled for more information, which was said to be available around the start of production, so should become available any day now. Perhaps later this month at the New York International Auto Show?
